Mark has been a financial advisor for nearly 40 years. His entrance into the financial services industry was born out of an early interest in business and the economy in his college years, as well as at his own experience with a financial advisor in his early 20s.
Mark earned a B.S.B.A. in Business and Political Science from Southern Oregon State College (now Southern Oregon University). He began his career as a financial advisor with A.G. Edwards, which was acquired by Wachovia Securities, and then later acquired by Wells Fargo Advisors. During that time, Mark earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification in 1998. Mark joined Stifel in 2016 and formed the Sosey Wealth Management Group in 2020.
Mark has a deep passion for working closely with his clients, many of whom have been with him for decades. His philosophy of investing is seeking out enterprising opportunities rather than taking more of a defensive position. Mark enjoys helping his clients identify and pursue their financial goals.
Outside the office, he and his wife, Debbie, enjoy travel, reading, serving at their local church, and being with their three children, their spouses, and their seven grandchildren.
Pete began his investment industry career at Stifel with the Sosey Wealth Management Group in 2021. Prior to joining Stifel, he spent more than a decade in higher education administration. Pete also worked with Humana Insurance, working in vendor contract negotiation. Bringing with him experience in legal and client service areas, Pete develops in-depth financial strategies to help clients build highly customized portfolios.
Pete earned a M.L.S. and JD from Trinity Law School and a B.A. in Speech Communication from The Master’s University.
Pete lives in Medford with his wife, Lauren, and their four children. Outside the office, Pete enjoys adventuring with his family, reading historical biographies, learning to play the banjo, and volunteering at his church.
Hannah joined the Sosey Wealth Management Group as a Client Service Associate in 2022. Prior to joining Stifel, she spent a decade in the medical services industry, where she learned several skills and acquired a passion for anticipating client needs. Hannah seeks to bring that same level of service and passion to the team’s clients.
Outside the office, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, Zane, and their Corgi, Beans, exploring the great outdoors and enjoying what the local food spots have to offer. She has a passion for baking fresh bread and gardening, both of which she finds challenging and highly rewarding. She is also an active member within the local church.
Hannah is excited to continue to grow and learn in her career and looks forward to being part of helping clients pursue their financial goals.
